My Method

Upon on our first session together, I will begin with an assessment of your overall general posture, your lifestyle, your schedule and your wellness goals. I want to design an ideal program that is supportive and habit forming and help build a roadmap toward your overall improved wellness.

Immediately, after assessment, I start you moving. I can then see how your postural habits are engrained in your body which then allows me to incorporate healthier functional movement patterns in your body’s movement. From years of experience, I have a highly trained and developed eye, and I will offer correctional direction, help guide your movements and align your body’s structure and help to correct faulty movement patterns and imbalances. I can see where your body is tight, weak and constricted. From that information, I can also see opportunities of growth, openings to help create lasting changes.

My method incorporates mindful movement; movement that is performed with awareness. My intention is to inspire you to experience the benefits of mindful movement based methods, disciplines based on science and education with a holistic approach. My method is simple. One of the most effective ways to retrain the body is to work as it was naturally designed. However, it will be a process; one built from accepting progress over perfection. It is a process through repetition, consistency and a natural curiosity and willingness to learn, you will see and feel immediate changes. Your body will become fitter and stronger. Your mind will become more clear and your spirit will become more uplifted. Your life will improve. You will become a better person, for yourself and for your world around you.

And there is still so much more to learn. I will continue to educate myself with holistic modalities that directly contribute to overall wellness- breathwork, proper alignment, mindfulness are key players to my understandings. My method has taken shape from all of my time studying all of the combined mind-body methods, my experience from all the bodies I have worked with, all of my own self-study and having taken from it all, what works best for my clientele and myself. It is constantly evolving and continues to take shape as I grow.

In short, my method is this…mindful movement is a direct path to wellness. Movement is the alchemy to wellness. Wellness is interconnected; encompassing everything from movement, to nutrition, to rest combined with spiritual and mental health.
